HOT: Jessica Alba comes clean about Hollywood dieting
In our celeb-worshipping culture, many women are obsessed with learning how the stars attain, well, such unattainably hot bodies. And how many times have we heard them credit hikes with their dog, yoga, and eating “whatever they want” in moderation as the keys to staying super svelte? In a surprisingly candid move, Jessica Alba, who just gave birth to second daughter Haven on Saturday, recently ’fessed up about her post-baby diet and workout routine in Lucky magazine. And guess what? She admits that getting that pre-baby body back ain’t so easy! “I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200 calorie meals delivered. But I also work out, so basically I’m starving. It sucks,” she says. Ok, so starving yourself is never good – and she took a lot of flak for her comment – but it’s refreshing to hear a sex symbol like Jessica cut the B.S. and admit to the extreme dieting and fitness routines that are all too common among celebrities. It can be hard to see past the Hollywood smoke and mirrors, but in reality, stars are working their butts off to look so good – with the help of personal trainers, nutritionists and gourmet delivery diets, no less!
