HOT: Britney Spears Lands a Gig on The X Factor
The queen of comebacks has scored yet another victory! Yes, Britney’s back (yet again), but it’s not in the way you would think. Following in the footsteps of other mega pop stars/talent show judges Christina Aguilera and J.Lo, Britney will officially hold court as a panel member on The X Factor this coming season. She’ll be sitting alongside Simon Cowell, the man who started it all – the TV talent show phenomenon, that is – as well as producer L.A. Reid and fellow crooner Demi Lovato. Not only does this mean that Britney will be in millions of Americans’ homes every week, it also means she’s $15 million richer. There’s no doubt that Britney’s star power will boost the show’s ratings, but it’s even better to see that Britney’s truly back on track. She’s engaged to be married, her kids are in her custody, and she has a more-than-steady flow of work coming in. This new version of Britney is a far cry from the girl who had a complete meltdown a few years ago – and judging wannabe stars on The X Factor seems like the perfect job for the star who’s been through it all.
