I need guidance. I have been an administrative assistant for the past 20 years. I’ve worked in banking, manufacturing and sales, but always in a clerical capacity. It’s boring, unchallenging, and requires no real creativity. I want to change professions, but I honestly don’t know what else I’m qualified to do. I’ve made a list of all the things I’d like to do and my passion centers around designing and creating, neither of which I have any work experience in. I’m only 37 years old and can’t stomach the thought of doing this for another 30 years! Do you have any suggestions on how to break into another profession? P.S. Taking a huge pay-cut is not an option.
