Hilary Duff Joins Gossip Girl
Teen queen Hilary Duff owes her agent a big fat “thanks” for gently steering her away from a singing career and landing her a multi-episode role on the hugely popular Gossip Girl. Duff is set to play a movie star who enrolls at NYU in hopes of a normal college experience. Rumor has it Duff’s character will be pursued by Dan (Penn Badgley—who’s real life girlfriend is castmate Blake Lively). We sense an off-screen cat fight coming on! (Our bets are on Blake!)
