Elizabeth Edwards Tells All About John’s Affair
Elizabeth Edwards, wife of former presidential candidate John Edwards, has finally revealed the dirty truths behind her husband’s scandalous and drawn out affair. In her new book Resilience, Elizabeth, who is terminally ill with cancer, writes that she became physically sick when her husband confessed to hanky-panky with videographer Rielle Hunter. John divulged a half-assed confession just days after he declared his candidacy in 2006, and to no avail, she begged him not to run for the sake of their family’s privacy. “While Elizabeth still hasn't fully come to terms with her man's roaming, the memoir is laced with a powerful dose of forgiveness,” according to New York Daily News reporter Celeste Katz. Whether or not we would have given the two-timing politico a second chance is beside the point—Elizabeth Edwards is a class act.
