Heigl Checking Out of Seattle Grace
It has been reported that Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl is leaving the show—and considering her character is dating her dead fiancé, we don't blame her. The actress is said to be unhappy with the quality of the show's writers (she even withdrew her name from Emmy consideration last year because she felt she wasn't given material to warrant it). Although we're still unsure whether Heigl herself has substantial talent, (Knocked Up, while hilarious, was no Oscar turn) at least a break from Grey's will give her the opportunity to hone her skills... and perhaps teach her to quit burning bridges.
