Cubicle Confession
Dear Nicole,
My boss is so cheap. He gives me trinkets from gift bags that he gets for free and calls them “bonuses.” He keeps the AC unit off in our office because he wants to save on his electricity bill and the rest of us drown in sweat all day. In his most recent spectacle, he called a high-end golf store and told them our company was hosting a writing contest for our customers. He got the store to donate a free set of golf clubs (worth $4,000!) to the supposed “winner” of the contest. And guess what? He kept the stinking golf clubs for himself! I am disgusted by his behavior, but obviously quitting would be a bad decision in today’s economy. What should I do?
