Cubicle Confession
Dear Nicole,
My boss was away on business and he asked me to check in his office for an agenda he left behind. When I looked on his desk, I happened to notice a file titled “Reviews” and just out of curiosity I took a peek. I came across my best friend’s review documents, and it had “expendable” written on top in big red letters. It also had comments scribbled all over like “incompetent,” “unpresentable,” and “annoying.” Should I warn my friend that she’s about to lose her job? Or should I try to avoid her in case I’m at risk of being associated with her? What if she spills the beans that I searched through my boss's files?
