The Second Show

Guess what people? Monday is the first day of Magic Show. And do I even have to tell you what that means? Oh, OK. It means that I will be hopping a plane bound for the desert at the end of August (why, convention planning gods, why??). It means that I will be flying there on the very same plane as Mr. Man. It means I will be staying in the very same hotel as Mr. Man—and will be breathing the very same air conditioned air, "dining" at the very same convention-centery food courts and pacing up and down the very same conventiony aisles as we attempt to source new career-making hardware for the line.

Dunno if you recall last year's shenanigans? Let's just say it was rated triple X, lasted precisely the length of the trip, and left me feeling weak in both the knees and the morality department.

This year, I feel much stronger. I mean I've already survived a trip with Mr. Man where I succeeded in not once dropping trou in his presence. Not once, I tell you! In fact, I managed not to be alone with MM for a single second. My secret weapon was of course, the mighty Naomi, who I'm sure has served as a sexual deterrent (though probably not in this way) many, many times before. Sharing a room with her made it impossible for me to even consider stealing away for a clandestine shag, had I wanted to—and I assure you, I did not.

But even though Naomi is again coming along, this time, I've been granted my own room. And I have to admit that even though I'm completely in love with Bloke, I'm a little bit scared shitless.  The thing is, the chemistry between Mr. Man and I is so insanely powerful, that I don't 100% trust myself, even now! OMG listen to me! I make it sound like Mr. Man has some sort of magical laser beam that vaporizes panties. But seriously, he kind of does.
