Well, I am happy to say that Brad bought me a falafel sandwich off a roach coach in Chinatown. Just kidding. Brad and I met at Inoteca. Do guys still pick girls up for dates outside of NYC? Cause that type of thing would be considered weird, even stalky here. Here we are much more willing to meet a complete stranger for a drink, provided they have no idea where we live. Anyway, Brad turned out to be quite good looking in person, preppy, but good looking nonetheless. I’m sure that even a year ago I would have written him off as being too straight for me, but ever since Mister Man gave me a taste of the straight and narrow, I’ve realized that vanilla can be super yummy and surprisingly nuanced. But the part that really got me was how funny and cool he turned out to be. Not only does he know everything that’s going on in the art world, but he totally cracked me up with his imitation of Levi, the Alaskan Bro-Dog who impregnated Bristol Palin, and who keeps telling the press he’s alternately “stoked,” or “psyched” about becoming a father. We ended up staying at Inoteca for awhile drinking, talking, you know the drill—and then went around the corner for a Nutella crepe. Note to men: Any date with Nutella involved is a good friggin date. Am I wrong ladies? Anyway—we will definitely be going out again. There was a kiss goodnight, and while I didn’t feel it in my pinky toes I did feel it in some other, rather important other areas. So there’s that.
