Have you ever noticed that most of the time New York City just thinks it's the center of the world—and that now and then it really is, and those times are never-ever good? No you say. Well honey, the past few weeks have revolved around NYC in a big bad way and the atmosphere has been dark. But between working my ass off and mooning over a variety of manfolk, I guess it hadn't really sunk in... Till now. Every news source there is is screaming about how even the luxury market is on its proverbial ass. There will be cuts. There will be tears. There will be blood. But I think it was Naomi's butchered eyebrows that finally drove home the seriousness of the situation. As you may recall, she has a habit of over pruning when stressed. And by over pruning I mean scribbling a squiggly line above each eye and then plucking along those guidelines. She actually looks like she's been on the victim end of a drunken college prank. So when i came face to face with her this morning (after gasping) my first thought was, "Oh shidt! Things are really bad out there!"
